I have been an IT passionate as soon as I wrote my first lines of code, back to middle school.
I believe I am versatile, and I am always trying to improve because I love what I do. In my free time, I like to tinker with 3d printers, all my computers (Pis, Arch installs), and I love cooking (understand eating).
My efforts are currently Rust-focused since I really enjoy the coding experience.
- Responsible for the maintenance and development of the Software Assurance Reference Dataset (samate.nist.gov/SARD)

This is an H1B position, I'm actually working for NIST as an external contractor.

- Developed two full-stack Rust applications for running himan evaluations of AI-generated content
- Aimed at gathering human feedback before training AI systems to detect whether a document was AI-generated
- Both applications have been successfully used and were now closed after the data was collected
- Designed and developed core features of an online merchant site
- Actively managed progress and helped students improving
- Implemented Test-Driven Development
- Built an ETL pipeline for importing old website data
- Used Ruby on Rails for the whole app
- Automated the generation of deepfakes using open-source Deep Learning tools (DeepFaceLab (now removed), FaceSwap): made thousands of videos for the project's dataset
- Supervised a student in using deepfake tools on GPU-accelerated hardware (NVIDIA DGX): provided guidance with Python, virtual environments, code reviews and coding best practices
- Participated in several workshops, presented the dataset generation pipeline and content to performers and stakeholders
- Migrated to Python3 and parallelized the ActEV_Scorer (see NIST github), reducing its runtime by ~80%
- Implemented new features to expand the scope of the evaluation (new scoring protocols, metrics and plots)
- Maintained and monitored the automatic execution pipeline, debugged when necessary and assisted performers with their submissions
- 6-month internship in a Computer Emergency Response Team
- Built data leak orchestration tool: parsing credential dumps, filtering, storing, indexing, and API to easily query the database (ClickHouse)
Their CERT is a very skilled team, I have met great people there. Project was interesting. The CERT allowed us to witness and participate in incidents and pushed us to get involved in their everyday tasks.
Overall experience was 10/10, would do it again!
